Borås Golfklubb is the 15th oldest golfclub in Sweden, dating back to 1933. At that time, the club was located in a military exercise area and a railway car was the ”Clubhouse”.

Borås Golfklubb is the 15th oldest golfclub in Sweden, dating back to 1933. At that time, the club was located in a military exercise area and a railway car was the ”Clubhouse”.
In 1954 the club was moved to its present location, with a new course ready to welcome the members.
In 1990 an additional course was opened.
There is also a nine-hole Course: Pay and Play.
The club has 2500 members and during the season there are many competitions and activities available for the members.
The club has teams in several leagues and one in the top league.
The courses
The two courses are of several types.
The old course (Par 72), Norra Banan, is a parkland course where every hole need concentration. There is no: ”I just have to ……”.
The new course (Par 69), Södra Banan, is a forest/parkland course with two 9-holes courses.
Facilities
The clubhouse is spacious with a fully licensed restaurant, which offers a continental style cuisine.
Additionally, the club also boasts a well-appointed pro shop with experienced golf instructors.
Parking area for caravans.
